Your Questions, Answered

  • We love to gather in person and have fun with a theme every month. Our participants are adults (high-school aged and older) and volunteers help make the time fun and safe.

    When you join us at our California or Tennessee events, you can expect the following.

    1. You’ll start with the check-in process. The first time you attend, we’ll ask you to provide important information about you. While a chaperone may not need to stay, we ask that they be available if needed.

    2. We ask for a $10 suggested donation to cover the cost of renting the facility, food, and any supplies purchased for a fun time.

    3. We like to eat together, and it’s usually pizza, salad, soda, and water. But sometimes, we get a special meal that goes with the theme. If you have dietary needs or allergies, please email us and let us know.

    4. Dancing, a special program, games, or an activity is how we spend much of our time together. Sometimes there’s prizes! We have a quiet room for those that want a quieter time with friends. Some of our participants bring ear plugs or headphones.

    5. Before you know it, it’s time to go! We ask all participants be picked up on a timely basis.
